We have an opportunity for a Teacher to join our team at Pebble Academy Muirkirk, East Ayrshire and build life-changing relationships with our pupils. The role offers you the ability to make a genuine difference to the lives of vulnerable young people between the ages of 11 and 18, responding to their individual needs to help them thrive.

What we offer you
- A salary of £38,655-£43,218 per annum, pro rata, plus benefits.

The Essential qualities we look for
- Educated to degree level with undergraduate/postgraduate teaching qualification.
- Secondary school teaching experience.
- Desire to work with pupils who have experienced trauma and challenge.
- Must have a current valid driving license.
- PVG enhanced.
- Full registration with General Teaching Council for Scotland.
- Right to work in UK.
The Desirable qualities we look for
- Knowledge of theoretical approaches to Adverse Childhood Experiences, mental health, attachment, therapeutic parenting, etc. and able to apply to everyday practice.
- Experience of teaching and assessing pupils with Additional Support Needs, or the desire to undertake professional learning to gain skills in this area.
- Experience of formulating flexible curricula for ‘hard-to-reach' pupils.
